Film Status - (updated 5/27/05)

Harvest completed Principle Photography on October 11 th 2004. In early March of 2005 a pick up shot was filmed in the back yard of Producer Kathleen Remington's back yard where the burning rubble of the woodshed was re-created and actor Guillermo Diaz's hand was given treated with full burn make-up and blood effects by director Jon Huybrecht.

 

A rough cut of the film was completed for Jon's senior thesis screening at Chapman University on May 14 th 2005. The version screened was rough and due to technical difficulties, only a partial sound design was attached.

 

Currently Harvest is undergoing a new edit and the sound design, musical score and special effects are also being worked on. We are also compiling the elements for the special features on the DVD. Editor Liz Gilliot is cutting "The Making of Harvest" and Audio commentaries are expected to be recorded as soon as the project is completed.

 

A completed version of the film is expected by mid-August/Early September.

 

At it's completion we are planning on Premiering the film with screenings in Minnesota , Wisconsin , Florida , New Hampshire and California . At this time the donors will receive their DVD copies of the film and additional copies will be available for purchase.
